FAQs Explained

  • How long will it take to get my order? UK and International orders are generally dispatched within 24/48 hours of order being received. Orders taken over the weekend will be dispatched on Monday. You will receive tracking information to the email address you provided on the day of dispatch. Orders dispatched via DPD are generally a next day or two day service. International orders depending on location can take anywhere from 2 working days to 6 working days.
  • Do you ship worldwide? We cover many countries worldwide upon checkout. If your checkout country is not listed, please contact us on and we can assist you.
  • Can I amend my order? Yes, you may amend your order until you receive tracking information, once tracking information is provided it is then too late to change anything.
  • How do I know what sizes to buy? In the description of each item, we give an indication of sizing for that specific item. If we say average and you are unsure, we then would advise up 1 size to ensure a good longer wearing fit. please note these are only indications and not specific advice * if the size purchased does not fit, exchange is acceptable (please see our terms and conditions). 
  • How should I care for my hand smocked items? Due to the delicate nature of these garments we recommend hand wash only, please do not soak, bleach or ring. If you wish to machine wash - please do so at your own risk, we strongly recommend a delicate cycle at no higher than 30 degrees, and inside out to protect the hand smocking. DO NOT TUMBLE DRY - line drying ONLY. To iron - place all garments inside out and please add a barrier cloth to protect the fabric (do not directly place the iron on fabric) please ensure iron is on a medium heat, and adjust accordingly.
  • Can I return my order? Yes, please do so within 14 days of receiving - please see full return details on our Refund Policy or Shipping Policy.
  • Do you wholesale? No, we are the sole distributors of the Ocean Baby Brand, and do not allow third party vendors to distribute or sell our products.
  • Do you have deals or discount codes? No, we do not have deal or discount codes on Ocean Baby, we very occasionally will run great sales, typically they do not run for more than a few days, so if you see one, be quick as we do sell out.
  • Can I choose a free gift? No, we offer a free gift for every single order, but it is done at our discretion. We always try to gift what is best for either the outfit itself - like matching socks, Or alternatively we gift for the age of the child being purchased for.
  • Will my order be sent all together or do you part ship? Every order sent out from us will be sent in its entirety, we never part ship. For extra peace of mind we mark off all packing slips with exactly what is placed inside the parcel. All orders are subject to CCTV monitoring and photographed before they leave, to ensure the best possible customer satisfaction.
