Coping with the changes in season
Let’s face it, we’ve reached that time of year where we have no idea what to wear! One minute it’s clear blue skies and sunshine, the next it’s cold and raining – just no hope!
It’s hard enough for us, but when we are dressing the “littlies” it becomes even more challenging. If they start tearing around they can easily overheat, but if they are sitting still for a while their temperature soon drops.
So, the best way to handle that is through layers. You can take off or put on to maintain a comfortable body heat.
When you get to Spring/Summer, unless it is particularly cold, thin layers are better. Very thick clothing will just make your child overheat too quickly.
Cardigans work really well for layering – easy to take on or off – and adding warmth without too much bulk. Here are a few options:
